Press Conference
A curtain raiser cum Press Conference was convened on 20th February 2007 at Hotel Intercontinental, New Delhi. Press Conference was addressed by Mr.V.K.Bansal,Director Nexgen Exhibitions Pvt Ltd the Organizer of Lubeasia, Mr.K.K.Gupta Executive Director(Lubes) ,Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited the Principal Sponsors of Lubeasia 2007 and Mr. Sudhir Singhal a renowned Lubricant Expert and Former Director Indian Institute of Petroleum. A large number of representatives from various press and radio attended Press Conference.
Inauguration
Lubeasia 2007 has a grandeur opening with inauguration by Mr.L.D.Mittal President Tractor Manufacturer Association and Chairman Sonalika Group of Companies. Mr. Mittal visited each and every exhibitor and discussed about lubricants which are suitable for Tractors. He has endeavored a linkage for OEM approval through this platform.
Indian Participation
Various Indian companies has shown their strength in Lube Technology and Products while showcasing the World Class Competitiveness of Indian Lube Industry and reinforcing Made-in-India brand.Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Balmer Lawrie & Company Ltd represented Public Sector Companies in Lubrications while Raj Group, Sah Petroleum Limited, Pensol Industries Limited, Raaj Unocal Lubricants were from large Indian Lube manufacturers segment. Raw Material suppliers and additive suppliers like Lubrizol India Pvt Ltd, Oasis Petro, Petrolube India Pvt Ltd were among prominent exhibitors. Technology and equipment segment was represented by Frigmaires Engineers & Indian Institute of petroleum whereas instrumentation was represented by Ace Technologies.Specialities and Industrial Oil segment was represented by Emulsichem Lubricants,Pune , Nippro Technologies Ltd,Chandigarh,Kaiser Fluids Bangalore and Polyspin Filteration Pvt Ltd,New Delhi.Besides there were participation from Small and Medium enterprises also
Overseas Participation
In its very first edition, Lubeasia has been successful to have participation from four countries namely Austria, Turkey, Iran and Dubai. This has enhanced the stature of exhibition. Total five numbers of Companies MSP, Austria, Behran Oil Iran, Gema Oil, Turkey, Canter Lube oil Dubai and Success Trading Dubai were distinctive participants to Lubeasia 2007.
Presence of Media as participants
To cover the event and to have first hand information Lubeasia 2007 has three leading media who have participated in event for all three days and took a note on entire proceedings of event. Prominent Auto supplement to Economic Times ET Automania, leading Auto magazine Motor India and Trade Journal Lubricants India had participated event.
Response
Quality and enthusiasm of the visitors turnout was unprecedented. The crowd of ,twenty five hundred plus ,serious visitors witnessed the success of Lubeasia 2007. The seriousness of visitors is witnessed by their geographical locations as visitors, besides from all Northern States, came all the way from Maharasthra, Gujarat, West Bengal, Chhatisgarh, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh & Karnataka.
Facet of the visitors turnout was the large quantum of entrepreneurs looking at sourcing of their needs of various inputs including equipment and technology and distribution channels looking at new tie-ups and collaborations.
Lubeasia 2007 had the international flavor with a gathering of overseas visitors from United Kingdom, Singapore, Qatar, Dubai, Nepal and Tanzania.
Lubeasia 2007 was also visited by many consumer industries as well as OEMs. Distinctive guest were from Defence Vehicle Factory Jabalpur.Technical personnels from Tractor manufacturing companies, four/two wheelers manufacturing companies, Textile industries, Paper Industries, Sugar Industries, Transformer manufacturers and many more had also visited exhibition to source their needs and to develop vendor base.
All in all, the exhibition echoed the country’s proactive change towards new generation lubes.
Souvenir cum Fair Directory
On the occasion of event Lubeasia a Souvenir Cum Fair directory was also releases containing very useful information on day to day use of Lube and Greases. The directory was distributed among participants and visitors as well.
Lucky draw for visitors
To make event funny Lucky draws were organized in all three days at the interval of two hours. Coupon was picked by exhibitors and their name was announced and they were handed over price by exhibitors themselves.
Achievements
Outcome from the serious interactions between exhibitors and business visitors was yet another milestone realized. A number of deals for equipment supply were signed during exhibition itself and all foreign participants got an overwhelming response from Indian Business community for distribution of their products. Foreign visitors were also highly impressed upon Indian Technology and discussed in length for their future requirements.
Encouraging facet of the visitors tempo was about their identifying LUBEASIA as a forum for re union of industry and building relationships; be it between manufacturers and consumers; be it between suppliers and distributors; be it between industry and society at large.
On the whole the Lubeasia 2007 was a great success and entire lube industry, in India and abroad, has appreciated the efforts of NEXGEN by creating a long awaited and much needed platform to showcase products, demonstrate technology & equipments and identifying services providers. It was truly a re union of lube industry of India and everyone, may be, participants or visitors praised the efforts and appreciated this good beginning. |
